Konnichiwa!
My name is Yuri. I don't know why you're here reading this but just so you know this vox account is dedicated to my sheer (crazy, silly, fanatic) love for Arashi. So, if you don't have any idea of what Arashi is, then I guess you're just kinda lost. (^^.')
Anyway, if you do know Arashi, welcome! welcome! ┖(♡´∀`♡) ┚
First of all, this vox is simply what it is, a journal. So basically it contains all of my random thoughts and flailings on Arashi. If you're looking for stuff to watch, listen, download, etc., I'm sorry but you are not gonna find anything here. Inasmuch as I want to share stuff like that to the Arashi fandom, I have very, very, very limited resources, so I got nothing. There are, on the other hand, a gazillion groups and accounts around overflowing with Arashi stuff so go join there instead.
This is just a collection of my thoughts, no more, no less.
Despite this, I would really appreciate it if you want me to add me as your friend. I don't know why you
would add me, but if ever you do, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
...and if you wanna read the start of my long, incoherent, fangirl rants...click here!
I have been missing a lot of Arashi shows. busy. busy. busy.
Anyway, I just saw a clip on youtube -- an (it's subbed which makes it 10x more amazing!) episode of Himitsu no Arashi-chan SP and it features ARAOKE. No, it's not your regular karaoke. In celebration (I think it'll be a 10-year celebration) of their tenth anniversary, Arashi is out to meet and greet the fans who love singing their songs on karaoke. Did I just say meet and greet? It's actually meet and SING WITH ARASHI! Kyaaa~!!! I wanna be there too!!! I don't mind singing all their songs with them all day! Gosh, while I was watching the video, I was even more excited than those girls whom Arashi had sang with. >.<!! They were so dumbstruck... and this girl TOUCHED OHNO. T_____T jealous. jealous. jealous. Plus, Riida's outifit is much much ♡♡♡!
What if I were in the same situation? Kyaaa~!!! I would have fainted.LOL.
You can check the clip HERE though only the first part's up yet.
Anyway, thanks to argooleeshi and ihsara001 for sharing.
I have a strong feeling that Arashi won Channel V's Battle of the Pop against Kat-Tun (and other JPop and KPop artists involved).
Too bad we don't have Channel V here, (so what's the purpose of me voting like crazy!?) but nevertheless, we still have VTunes on Star World and at least I still get to see Arashi PVs on TV! And yes, THEY DO GIVE ARASHI MORE EXPOSURE NOW. So far I've seen A.RA.SHI, Everything, and Crazy Moon~Kimi wa Muteki~ aired. An episode of JKPop is not over without a video from the boys.
Well done guys! And actually, WELL DONE EVERYONE!
To everyone who voted in the poll, thank you very much for letting Arashi invade Channel V.
I've finally watched the first episode of 0 Goushitsu no Kyaku!! Thanks by the way to the fans who shared the videos of the first episode.
Actually I really don't know what to say. Literally. I only watched it out of my love for Oh-chan (plus the plot is interesting too). Unfortunately, I did not understand anything about what I've watched. EPIC FAIL!
I heard that stormy team and SBK Fansubs will sub this. Yay! Thanks for such wonderful subbers and translators!
One more thing, the end theme, Tokei Jikake no Umbrella is ♡!!
Originally, Channel V started Battle of the Pop in the hopes of seeing a battle between Jpop and Kpop, but now the battle has finally reached its last round and all Kpop stars have been eliminated leaving Arashi and Kat-Tun to battle it out.
This match is perfect as there has always been this unending rivalry between Arashi and Kat-Tun and this battle will hopefully settle things once and for all.
This being said,
It's their tenth year, they should get more recognition!
I have to wake up exceptionally early today because there's a replay of the Vtunes episode aired last Friday and of course, you know what this mean... (well that is if you've read my previous post)
...this means, another chance to see Arashi on TV!! one. more. time.
I still can't get enough of it! Even though I've seen the video hundreds of times online, it's still different when you're seeing those guys in your own television. And even though it's the second time I've seen this on Vtunes, the feeling's still the same! Yes! My heart was actually beating so fast that I felt that it would soon pop out of my mouth (eh, not a very nice picture...).
Anyway, I've been repeating this several times already, but, LET'S VOTE FOR ARASHI IN BATTLE OF THE POP!
[EDIT]
The battle between Arashi and Yui has been concluded. Arashi won with 15,995 votes against Yui's 4,444 votes.
Round 3 starts. This time, it's Arashi versus Ayumi Hamasaki. Meanwhile, there's also the battle between KAT-TUN and TVXQ. I have to say that both bands are tough contenders. I can't wait for the final round! >...< Arashi, gambatte!!
OMG! OMG! OMG!
Finally!! Arashi paid our local cable network a visit and they oh-so-marvelously graced our television with their awesomeness.
Sorry for such incoherent blabbering but I'm still floating on cloud nine right now.
As I've said in previous posts ago, Arashi rarely shows up in any channels in our country -- even in our sole Japanese cable channel (so what more in local channels?) that's why I was so thrilled and hyped when I found out about Channel V's Battle of the Pop. Mind you, we really don't have Channel V in our cable (look how unfair things are), but just an hour every weekdays of Vtunes in Star World instead. What's even sadder is that Vtunes only features J-pop once in those 5 days, and even more sadder (can this get any worse?!) is that J-pop videos share that once a week 1 hour airtime with K-pop videos in a segment they call JK Pop. Now can you just calculate the amount of chance that I have just to see Arashi on TV?
But as they say, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel... a silver lining... a rainbow after the rain...I think you already get the idea. Anyway, as I watch Vtunes' JK Pop this afternoon, I am constantly wishing...and praying...and wishing that they show Arashi... and you know what, THEY REALLY DID!
Huzzah!!!
And what better PV to show at such memorable event but their ever-famous A-RA-SHI PV! Seriously, the moment I saw those squiggly lines at the beginning of the video (yeah, the ones which spell ARASHI), there has been a major outburst of endorphins and adrenaline. I instantly turned our TV's volume all the way up! Too bad I couldn't flail much because dad is around and...but anyway, I was so much starstruck at the moment that I couldn't really process the song in my head. My eyes are like glued onto the TV while my head goes berserk. OMG! OMG! OMG! This is a very priceless moment for local Arashi-on-TV-deprived people like me.
Well, now I guess it's true that (according to ArashiNino) whoever wins Battle of the Pop gets to have more airtime and gets to be promoted a lot. This has already been proven true to SuJu, that after winning twice in previous battles, their videos are featured for several times already. And now that Arashi won against them, they are inching their way to more Channel V airtime. This is the start.
And so, I am still calling out to all the Arashi fans around the world, keep voting minna! Keep voting until they are declared the champion. Spread the Arashi rabu! Make a storm!
Yokatta!
Round 1 of Channel V's Battle of the Pop ended last night and ARASHI WON AGAINST SUPER JUNIOR!!
Subarashii, ne?
It has been a really intense battle between Arashi and SuJu and the fangirls can attest to that. I even made 20 accounts (thanks to yamauekaze, btw) just so I could vote 20 times a day. Everyday, the gap between Arashi and SuJu keeps on chaging. One minute SuJu is leading, then switches to Arashi, then SuJu again...and finally just as voting ends Arashi won with a whopping 37, 171 votes versus Super Junior's 33, 464 votes.
This totally shows the power of Arashi fans. Minna, arigatou for the support!
Round 2 has now started and it's Arashi versus Yui.
Arashi, gambarou!!
As I watch this video, nasty thoughts started racing through my mind.
I love Aiba and his AiLand games!
This time it's Japan vs. Korea!
Awhile ago Arashi was in the lead but now Super Junior is making their way ahead of our beloved guys!
Please, onegaishimasu... This might look like such a desperate move but here in our country, we rarely see Arashi in TV so this is our chance to see them! Please vote for them! Voting ends on October 4 2009.
